Dr Anthony Ernest Sibert Educational Advisor
Dr Sibert jests that he has never left school all his life. The year after completing his studies at St Xavier's Penang, he became a temporary teacher and subsequently obtained his La Sallian Teachers' Certificate at St Joseph's Training College Penang. He served for 20 years teaching in Secondary Schools during which time, he obtained his Master in Education (TESL). He then moved on to the School of Education at Universiti Sains Malaysia until he retired from government service.
He obtained his PhD (Education) from University Malaya Kuala Lumpur and moved on to private colleges in various Academic and Administrative capacities including Olympia College Penang from 2000 to 2006 when he conducted the Nottingham Trent University, UK - Olympia College Advanced Diploma in Teaching in Higher Education. On his second tenure since 2010 with Olympia College Penang, Dr Sibert continues his experience as Education Advisor conducting staff development programmes as well as participating in curriculum development and implementation to meet employers' needs.

Rose Okwiya Master Coach
A graduate from United States International University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA in International Business Administration, Rose Okwiya has vast experience, mainly in the education sector and had the opportunity to work and gain experience in helping to start the first online University in Kenya as the Director of e-Learning and Course Material Production. She enjoys both research and writing and has a passion for online learning and likes to engage students in the process. She is in the process of pursuing her Doctorate and her dissertation paper is based on "Strategies for Creating and Sustaining an Online Education Program".

Brian George Fitzpatrick Industrial Advisor
Brian Fitzpatrick's vast knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry has enabled him to guide and restructure the hospitality programme at Olympia College today. The Nottingham Trent University – UK / Master of Business Administration from Olympia College graduate, is currently an Advisor to the Raffles School of Hotel Management. He ensures that the syllabus is on track to fulfill the expectations of the current hospitality industry. He believes that being practical is the key for employment hospitality industry.

Benny Ong Coordinator, Raffles School of Hotel Management
Benny Ong, a graduate from the UK with a Higher National Diploma in Hotel Catering and Administration from Middlesex polytechnic ( now Middlesex University) currently holds the position of Coordinator at Raffles School of Hotel Management in Olympia College, Petaling Jaya campus. He has also obtained the Masters in Business Industrial Marketing from Western Sydney University in Australia. His passion has always been in the hospitality industry and he has spent over 25 years working in various hotel schools in Penang and Kuala Lumpur. His track record had shown that he has taught and trained many potential students into successful hospitality professionals in Malaysia and in Asia. Currently, Benny is pursuing his PhD in Hospitality Management. With his vast knowledge and experience, he aspires to help potential students to be more successful in their careers in the hospitality industry.

Salbiah Binti Haji Zainal IT Lecturer , Olympia College, Petaling Jaya
Salbiah Binti Haji Zainal has obtained the Master in Information Technology from Mara University of Technology (UiTM). She has four years working experience as System Analyst and three years working experience in the academic field. Currently, she works as an IT Lecturer at Olympia College, Petaling Jaya.
She is an expert on set-up, maintainance, troubleshooting and on providing support on Microsoft Windows OS computers, web-based inventory and CRM systems and IT peripherals. She is involved in JDE Enterprise One System (E1), Sales Force Automation (SFA) and Field Data Automation (FDA).
Currently, Salbiah is pursuing her studies at Ph.D level in Science and her research interest is in mobile commerce technology unified with human feelings and emotions. This technology and method is adopted from Kansei Engineering by Nagamachi. As emotion is believed to have significant contribution to product success, her research set it's focus to the value of emotion in the domain.

May-Leong Lai Sim Head of Business Faculty
Leong Lai Sim or fondly addressed as Ms May by her students is an experienced lecturer and knowledgeable tutor in Business Administration and Marketing related subjects, conducting English Language classes as well as Bahasa Malaysia subjects. Equipped with a MBA from Nottingham Trent University, UK, she currently holds the position of the Head of Business Faculty in Olympia College, Kuantan, where she is in-charge of various business and marketing subjects for Diploma, Degree as well as Masters programmes. Prior to her academic stint, she was very involved in the hospitality industry where her duties were very diversed i.e., Head of Marketing Communications / Public Relations Department. Being highly proficient, she is able to communicate at all levels and possess good rapport with members of the corporate industry and mass media (local press). In recent years, she became an experienced Trainer for Interpersonal, Communications skills and Public Relations Practices after being invited to conduct various courses on and off campus. She also conducts various MBA tutorials throughout the semesters. With her vast experience and constant big, bright smile, May- Leong is indeed a positive figure to reckon with, be it in the hospitality industry or the academic environment.

Hannah D. Billones Coordinator of Olympia Business School Paying it forward must be one of Hannah's life motto. As a recipient of relevant privileges during her university days at Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Iloilo Society of America (ISA), Hannah started her career as a tutor. The Bac. of Science (Applied Mathematics) graduate found a deeper desire to educate which drove her to gain units in education, take the Licensure Examination for Teachers and the Civil Service Examination for Professionals and earn a Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics at the University of Southeastern Philippines. Being one who loves trying new things, Hannah took a dip into research writing and quantitative analysis. Recently, she made innovations to the Quality Circle Approach of teaching Mathematics and was invited to present this paper at the Asian Mathematical Conference. She is now taking another new role as Olympia's Business School coordinator, stating that "the Business Programme is the short and dependable route for those who want to join companies as supervisors or executives and even for aspiring entrepreneurs." |
